Take a gander at this criminal.........

This man lived with his wife, Cheryl Rigsbee, who embezzled 2 million dollars from local and county fire charities. She's in prison now for 11 years after pleading guilty. He didn't divorce her until 2017.

From a person's Facebook post: Andrew Rigsbee is running for a City Commission seat. This is from his wife's embezzlement case. HOW do you purchase ALL that on a firefighter's and CPA’s salary and not know something is going on?

From his wife's (at the time) embezzlement case: “A subsequent investigation conducted by the company revealed that Rigsbee had forged 235 checks over the five years of her employment with Ultra-Met, totaling $1,933,982.69. Rigsbee spent the money to buy personal items for herself and her family, including, but not limited to, the following: a remodeling of the family residence and purchase of new kitchen appliances and furniture; numerous televisions and other electronics; six automobiles; one sailboat and one powerboat; three motorcycles; 17 firearms; 99 bottles of wine; computer software valued at $9,000; 750 movies on DVD; multiple video gaming systems; new golf clubs and a membership to the Windy Knoll Golf Club; several trips to France, Ireland, Scotland, New York City, and Boston, which included first-class tickets, limousine rentals, reservations at the Ritz Carleton Hotel, and tickets to Broadway shows; three Rolex watches and two diamond rings; china flatware and silverware; various power tools; payment in full of student loans; payments made on several credit cards; payments for household maintenance services; and $113,071.45 paid to family and friends.” She took the fall alone though……

My first thought is that the City of Springfield "leaders" have been giving him Fire awards ever since. It doesn't take a lot to figure out their thinking behind that.

And Tracey Tackett, the Wendi Adelson of Springfield, Ohio, LOVES him. That's all I need to know about a person, but apparently, most of Springfield needs a lot more help to see clearly.

There is no way to believe that he didn't know, participate, and enjoy every dollar that was spent.

1. Why would a man like this even think he should run for a seat on a city commission?

2. Why would any of those 400 people sign a petition to put him on the ballot?

3. Why is he allowed to be an Interim Director for a group called Project Woman?

4. What is this town thinking?

Barron (write-in)
Ricketts (water)
Rigsbee (embezzler)
Wallace (who knows)

In more things that are inexplicable: He was appointed Interim Executive Director for a group called Project Woman, an organization with horrible reviews and a plethora of accounts of not providing help to anyone. Their heyday of federal funds was in 2019-2020 (of course) but in 2025, they received less than $300K in funding and most of that would have to go to the salaries reflected on the highergov.com website.

All the above to ask, HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE???

Update: 3,008 people in this city should just not be allowed out of their homes. The world would be a much better place. (I assume 1,000 are fire lovers. They wouldn't turn on one of their own even if they were a serial killer. Another 1,000 probably just voted for anyone on the list, not knowing what the hell they were doing. And then another 1, 000 knew exactly.

Now we have to look at another criminal on the City Commission for 3 years. I'd like to start the recall process before he attends his first meeting.

This was his Facebook post picture for his petition signing event at Winans. I'm hoping the empty and the 90 Facebook likes are a good sign.

Why doesn't this town want to get rid of the criminals when "electing" its leaders? (I put electing in quotes, because we know Bryan Heck has to approve candidates and let the Clark County Board of Education know who can run for or win anything.)
