Diana Daniels - August 2023 - a foreign national caused the bus accident killing one. Driving without a license was the tip of the corruption iceberg. Happy recipient of a hoard of immigrants. The heat got turned up. Anyone who questioned was pubilcized as a racist. We had to put all the pieces of the puzzle together. Don't delete your emails. Recruited since 2014 and 2021, but my focus is on the people in this room profiting off of it. Citizens have left by the dozens. Losing tax money. Yvonne Owens - IN A MASK! At the Jan 14, 2025 meeting, the permanent housing came up. Community members came out in droves to oppose . I would think shame on them. But 7 days before she was 30 1-bedroom apartments, only 7 Commission members at the meeting, the y had no answers. For community to meet with the developers. Mulberry Gardens/Terrace. Asked developer could find another location and they were offered. The community asked that it not be built across from elementary school. We are better than that. It was not about the development of housing, it was about the location. I have no idea what she's saying.

Tina Siebolt - We might get more community involvement if people don't have to give address. I know you don't make enough money for all the things you had to deal with in the last year. Deadline of April 23rd to revoke parole status. August to revoke TPS status. Birthright citizenship - how many children are losing their parents? And what are we doing to help them? Children might be at school when their parents are taken. What's going to happen when ICE comes?

Jan Casto - Thank you for the opportunity to speak. Lived here my whole life. Astounded by teh comments. The audacity to speak such racism against Haitians. Those that come with complaints that they're getting everything for free without paying taxes - these people have no idea what city gov't does. These people didn't pay attention in school and it shows. Defaming people who look and do things differently than them. Unless you're a Native American, you're an immigrant. Proof of your ignorance. I would like to thank Mayor and Commissioners who behave with professionalism. I'll continue to be a part of the caring majority. We love fiercely here in Springfield. Our immigrants bring so much to our community.

Housing continues to be an issue here. I have been working on for 7 years.

I stand by what I said when that housing didn't go into place. That comment was directed to me. Something about across from a school. Springfield natives were in this, too. I will always say that the citizens spoke that night - the attitudes about it not being built there. It was disheartening. But I can't list all the things that have disheartened me. Someone spoke and Estrop said this is not a dialog.

Strangest public hearing on zoning EVER. They knew nothing beforehand.
