The prayer/invocation and pledge. Please give us peace in our community, Lord. (This is always directed at the citizens - we're still dangerous.)

Chaplain from Police did the prayer. We look to you as the Prince of Peace and we ask that your peace comes to this community. in your how you cared about people even those that didn't agree with you. Help us love each other. We trust that your Will will be done tomorrow (election day). Blessing on all that are here and our City employees and ALL The people who call Springfield home.

Followed by Rue's hateful city statement "allowing" people to speak and warning the dangerous citizens. And due to heightened security, we ask that you do not approach the dais.

Diana Daniels - Unity and Peace March speaking at the. .. calling out hate groups that call out anti-migrant positions. Waiting 6 weeks now for answer. Occupy a building - was provide protection for a hate group The Nation of Islam and another one that got a parade permit - Israel United in Christ Movement - that meant no protection for the city president of the NAACP. I am not a racist. Does that trigger you?

Jacob Payen - the CRIMINAL of the Haitian Community Alliance. I have good news tonight. We have heard the complaints and are taking actions. We encourage them to go to school and help them with getting driver's licenses. The long lines there are frustrating for the citizens. Creole Hotline. I've been here a long time and I'm still struggling with English. Creole Connect Program - testing at the BMV. Want to use this at the police, too, so they can talk to us. They get tired of not knowing what we're saying. The Haitian Coalition has been helping us - we have used all their resources to help us, now we can help ourselves. We have a monthly magazine to help the residents to understand us and our culture.

Jessica Schafer - the gal who tells us we're all racists.

Noel Felds - I came to you on August 13th and on September 10th you told me that what I had spoken about was not true. I am terrified to speak in public. You discounted me. You made me feel like a fool. The issues continue. Now I'm trying a new tactic, I have self-addressed envelopes here with questions for you. to see if any of you responds to me .Please help me and help my city.

Spinelli - how these landlords are taking care of their property. Haitians are paying $500 a month near me for a room in a house. $1750 a month for $100,000 house. Corporations and outside landlords taking advantage. This contributes to our homeless problem. Slum lords. They're not livable.

Charles Jackson - The Sherriff's LT made a harsh statement and he should have more than a slap on the hand. Should get suspended, anger management. If I'm a democrat, I could just lay there and die. It was a threat to Democrats.

Wes Babian (see below***)- the gushing love for the commission. Same speech still in September 2025 about the neighbors.

Henry Willis Shepherd - homeless. I don't know what he's saying.

it appears there's a little bit of slow down. All about changing behavior.

Said anecdotally 4 times for some reason. But said "antecdotedly" and didn't fit the sentence.

About the comments - that's an elected Sherriff issue. I heard somebody mention that you are short officers. It's across the nation. You have to be very careful about who you hire. Fight the urge to lower the standard. The state can help you with recruiting resources.

Logan Cobbs "Community Development Director" spoke about something she knows nothing about, as usual. Someone asked her about the affordable housing she's talking about. How much will they sell for? She literally answered, "I'll have to look into that." "Built on Clifton. Oh I'm sorry, not Clifton, near Southern and Grant." Estrop said he thought someone came to talk about this in a recent meeting and told us that information? Heck said, he wasn't sure but he thought it was less than 200K". Estrop asked if it was on the website. Heck didn't know.

I spend so much time with citizens here and we're all great people. And this is the eve of the election. And she's reading. A broken system that fails to support our newcomers. I have tried to lead this way. I have courage to sit at tables with people who I disagree with. Prioritize your own mental health. Take a moment to breathe during this challenging time.

Estrop
The General Assembly passed law that prohibited the use of redlight cameras. Perhaps we need to rethink that as a state. Wilson told him that was the state supreme court.

Houston
Mr. Spinelli's rent control - Rent control is illegal in Ohio. Outside LLCs are legally allowed to purchase property here.

**First and Second Readings

The sale of the fire station to the Haitian Community Center. Amoutn? First reading?

Jason Via reported that Brumbaugh Construction won the construction bid for $4,996,000 to build Fire Station #5 at 50 N Thompson.

**My Thoughts

*** Wes Babian attends every meeting to talk about how much he loves the commissioners, the city manager, the mayor. How selfless and wonderful they are, especially in such stressful and challenging times. He gushes about the love he has for "our new neighbors. He is the Board President of the Clark County Combined Health District (CCCHD) and has a salary listed as zero but directly (in descending salary order) under the top two making over $360K. The CCCHD has made a literal fortune off the Haitians from other people's tax dollars. Wes Babian was Warren Copeland's pastor at the First Baptist Church for 20 years. He is now on the Board of Rocking Horse and the CCCHD, among others in the health field. He is listed as having no salary, and organizations never publish bonuses and benefits for the public. He lived in a 4 BR 4BA, 4300 square foot house on a quiet dead-end street neighboring only about a dozen houses that he sold for $370K in July 2025. According to the Interwebs, he has a net wroth of 1.375 million. These things explain why he's on the Board of everything and as he sees it, chooses to represent his god at every meeting. Thanking Rue for allowing him to speak for 3 minutes. Sanity to me!

Why does Jacob Payen get to speak at all? He is a criminal with a very long rap sheet. He's a thug with black market guns.

The Sherriff's office is County. This man is just among the Springfield lowest tier of intelligence, though.
