Commission Meeting Videos Jan 2024 - July 2024
They removed their meeting videos from their YouTube channel when Fall 2024 happened, but they are still up on Facebook (as of this typing).
The City of Springfield's Facebook page where they publish the biweekly City Commission meetings has removed all meetings prior to Vance's September post on X that Trump ran with in his debate.
My opinion on why is this: Data is frowned upon. It is not kept, referred to, or allowed to be accessed or disclosed to citizens. They don't want anyone to see that the Haitian influx disaster for the city was discussed LONG before Vance's X post. The videos were removed so nobody could see that.
There are many snippets online, though, because they were used by folks to show our reality. Folks = non-residents of Springfield. All comments, social media accounts, etc., have been blocked for many residents. I think they're scared of the bullies who defend the narrative that everything is fine, Haitians = good, Citizens = bad.
And of course scared of Bryan Heck. He's the mafia fixer.
I was looking for meetings before the Influx reality went national and they were deleted from YouTube a month later before I could watch. This was after they stopped allowing interactions on any of their online presences.
I stumbled upon one in a Google search and found that they have kept them on their Facebook page (probably not purposefully, unless it's a bylaw).
My thought: I intend to watch a few of these just to prove that the influx issues were discussed LONG before the national exposure in September 24th.
