So Many Holiday Photo Opps, So Little Time

Kyle Koehler has been a rep or senator for Springfield now for EIGHT years. The people have re-elected him. Now, I know votes are meaningless here. People are selected, not elected. The Clark County Board of Education is just as good at hiding their corruption as anyone else. People run unopposed most of the time.

This man lives nowhere near the city of Springfield on a half million dollar property. He has a small family printing business in town.

So, he's been around for the entire Haitian influx. He's been around for all of Warren Copeland and Bryan Heck and Carl Ruby and Rob Rue. He's seen it all. Watched and said and done nothing. Not only has he done nothing, he's nowhere to be found.

In September 2024, he went on Fox News, because he had to say something, for his ONE and ONLY interview from nowhere near Springfield, and blamed the struggles here on "cultural misunderstandings".

And the ONLY time he's been seen or heard here since (or in the last two years) was in a quick stop to tell the mayor that he's been avoiding Springfield and why.

In the January 28, 2025, City Commission meeting (44:24 timestamp and in the video shown below), this "man" said, and I quote:

"I haven't been here for the last two years, because I was out of office and I didn't want to take some of the struggles that Springfield has been dealing with and use that as some sort of political stunt. I wanted to come back now that I'm in office and let you know that I'm ready to help.

And once again, hasn't been seen or heard from since.

In this same January 2025 moment, he went on to say:

He APOLOGIZED to Mayor Rue for things he said in a Shelby County talk where he talked about Springfield. "It strained our relationship and I'm sorry for that."

I'm committed to helping you. This is a federal problem. And has to be fixed that way.

A lot of things will change at the federal level with the new admin. But this is a federal problem. Right now, they're dealing with Florida, and California, and North Carolina. Sure, we need to clean up some here. But we're not dealing with fire or mud or water. We're dealing with human beings who deserve dignity.

Think he got together with Rue beforehand to make sure he threw in that apology and that last part? Those are Rue's exact words in every meeting.

And then he left and hasn't been seen or heard from since. (January 2026 now)

He posts constantly on his social media accounts about his farm animals, his visits to the pumpkin patch at Halloween, his enormous family (why must they always reproduce so fast?) dinner at Thanksgiving, etc. And people gush in the comments, saying things like you're such a great man, thank you for all you do for us.

In a group chat, three women came to his defense. "He's a great man." "I believe him." "He donated a retractable flag to our school." One was even hopeful that he'll be able to do something for Springfield. "Has Koehler done anything to help our situation…it doesn’t appear that he has, but he explained the process to me…in great detail…and with all things government…the red tape is blinking unreal! Will he be able to do something? Maybe…that remains to be seen."

I answered with my opinion of this "man" and citied his one appearance in four years and how he doesn't even use the word "Springfield" and the group chat response was, "We'll just have to agree to disagree." You can't disagree with a reference to what he said on video. Can you?

And this is what's wrong with the city of Springfield.

There's the frog in boiling water story. But it's been boiling too long now to be that. These are adults. There is no Santa Claus. Nobody who is in office now (or that you resurrect from the past) is coming to help or save you. And to think they're "good" people? When people like Koehler and all the others - he is not alone - tell you every single day how much they don't care. It's not even hatred; you don't matter.

I don't know what it takes, but the more I research the more I want to just shake this town.

Some people call it Stockholm Syndrome. Defined as follows: "Stockholm syndrome is a psychological response where hostages or abuse victims develop positive feelings, empathy, or loyalty towards their captors or abusers as a survival tactic, often stemming from intense fear, isolation, and perceived kindness, leading them to identify with their abuser's perspective and even defend them. It's a coping mechanism, not a formal diagnosis, showing how the mind adapts to extreme trauma, creating bonds of dependency to navigate a threatening situation, often seen in hostage situations, domestic abuse, or human trafficking."

Is it that? The emotional abuse that diminishes people over time?

What does it take to still think someone like this man is here to help you, that he gives a shit about you? Is it indoctrination? That they're our leaders and just have to know what's best for you. They deserve respect and loyalty, even while they're shitting all over you.

This man has screamed - by his complete silence - that he doesn't even hate you. You don't matter. You are nothing. You don't exist. He (and Carey and Turner and Husted, etc.) want your and everyone in the country's money, but they'd rather it didn't come attached to YOU.

Until Springfield wakes up, it will take about 2 more years for us all (citizens) to lose everything. And we paid for it all. Including making millionaires out of all the pathological pieces of shit like Kyle Koehler.

My comment to him:

Blah blah blah. Do they teach this word salad meaningless speak and that look in Ohio senator training lately? I've never seen a group of people doing so little and actually telling us they're doing so little. I guess there's an honesty in that somewhere.

All these words to once again let us you can accomplish and have accomplished nothing. Why do you even post? And throw in the added bonus for us that you're spending a lot of money WE don't have to travel and meet and summit with your other Ohio cronies (aka the network) to talk about the doing of the nothing.

Why do you continue to use your little Springfield business to make it look like you have some close familial connection to the town? It's a real head-scratcher. I mean, you actually avoid Springfield like the plague. It's become a literal cesspool and you (and everybody else, so you're not alone) want no part of it. If you did, you'd actually DO SOMETHING. In your own words, "I've stayed away, because I was running for office."

All anybody should need to know about who you are. We still haven't seen you and never will, of course, unless it's another holiday farm photo opp.
