Folks like comparisons, so using Middletown, a standalone town - unlike Kettering – with 52,000 people, their TOTAL number of City employees is ~300.

I’ve submitted a PRR for Springfield totals per year since 2019, but Houston mentioned in one of her recent groupie diatribes, she defended Heck’s salary because he has over 600 employees.

Middletown’s City Manager salary is comparable to Heck’s, but it’s not nearly as painful with half the number of employees to pay for.

Now, the next information is going to be about the new trucks they purchased with Covid ARPA money.

And how many employees drive their trucks home, no matter where they live. One employee lives in Jamestown, for example, a 25 mile/41 minute one-way trip.

The Services Department of a town of 58,000 people (they don't count the 30,000 Haitians unless they're looking for federal welfare money, so I won't either) has 135 employees.

And they keep hiring!
