The Racism is Theirs
It's a tactic for the dumb. Pot calls kettle what pot is.

I get it. Every town does it. The Convention Bureau, the Chamber of Commerce, the Visitor Tourism group, they post the image of the city that will attract the most money.
This is just one image of Springfield's annual Come Together Tribute from June 2025. Many more are on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/cometogethertributeband/
Make no mistake, this is an event created by the Syndicate for the Syndicate. It sends a very intentional message. To white people, who they obviously believe are their tax revenue bread and butter. And to black or Hispanic people, who they obviously don't want shown in any "come live and play in Springfield" marketing message.
Not to mention, where are the Haitians? They're 26% of the city's population -more than the Black and Hispanic population combined. The Syndicate is constantly talking "forward together" and "everyone". They're constantly talking about how loved and safe the Haitians are in this town - they're the good and honorable contributors - they're the model children who enrich our lives every day. It's the white citizens who behave badly. We're dangerous, so they tell us over and over and over again. But it's obvious that they also think we pay for everything; thus, the pictures.
So, who are the real racists? Am I confused AGAIN?
The town's demographics in June 2025 (They're not big on data here, so the numbers do vary. And we're told that Haitians wouldn't be included in the census..):
I used the percentages provided by the Census websites:
https://censusreporter.org/profiles/16000US3974118-springfield-oh/
https://data.census.gov/profile/Springfield_city,_Clark_County,_Ohio?g=060XX00US3902374118
Population 58,662 in 2020 census
Population estimate 2025 is same/stagnant, but you have to add the 20K population not included in the census. Below are images of my math.
In the new 2025 Springfield, Haitians make up 26% of the population of Springfield. Black people 15%. White people make up 50%.
So, do these pictures accurately reflect our city? Of course not. Don't be fooled by the racism of the economic development (in any town - especially a "welcoming" aka sanctuary one.
The Don and all his people touted this for months. Part of the "forward together" virtue signaling. So I ask you. What part of this reflects togetherness. None of it.
At a June 2025 Commission Meeting, Katie, the Finance Director, presented the 2026 budget. Estrop diatribed about how
Apparently, the Haitians didn't enrich Springfield as much as the Syndicate told us and the entire world? Could they have lied to us? No.....they care about us.

More racists.....
The Springfield Arts Council has taken to blurring out their audiences in a lot of posts, so you can't see all the "whites only" (not by design, of course) events. https://www.facebook.com/SpringfieldArtsCouncil
