The November 2025 Election Results
Once again, Clark County outdoes itself with record low voter turnout. 30%! County-wide. You know it was a lot less in the City of Springfield.
11,804 people voted FOR the Parks tax levy. Reason: In the water? In the school system? You have to be all kinds of dumb or dependent.
5, 435 people voted FOR the sales tax increase for the jail. Reason: In the water? In the school system? You have to be all kinds of dumb or dependent.
3,008 people voted FOR Andy Rigsbee. Reason: People don't know who he is or do and don't care that he's an actual criminal. He was on the list of 3.
3,299 people voted FOR Larry Ricketts. Reason: He changed his entire personality after starting his campaign. He's a pro-Haitian, anti-citizen ranter. Nobody know who he really is. He was on the list of 3.
And 4,288 voted FOR Chris Wallace. Reason: He whored himself to all the Project 2051 meetings in town. Nobody knows a thing about him. He was on the list of 3.
But most disturbing of course, is the 3,000 people just voted for a criminal to sit on the City Commission. From a Facebook account trying to remind people who Andy Rigsbee is: This is his wife's embezzlement case. HOW do you purchase ALL that on a firefighter's and CPA’s salary and not know something is going on?
From his wife's (at the time) embezzlement case: “A subsequent investigation conducted by the company revealed that Rigsbee had forged 235 checks over the five years of her employment with Ultra-Met, totaling $1,933,982.69. Rigsbee spent the money to buy personal items for herself and her family, including, but not limited to, the following: a remodeling of the family residence and purchase of new kitchen appliances and furniture; numerous televisions and other electronics; six automobiles; one sailboat and one powerboat; three motorcycles; 17 firearms; 99 bottles of wine; computer software valued at $9,000; 750 movies on DVD; multiple video gaming systems; new golf clubs and a membership to the Windy Knoll Golf Club; several trips to France, Ireland, Scotland, New York City, and Boston, which included first-class tickets, limousine rentals, reservations at the Ritz Carleton Hotel, and tickets to Broadway shows; three Rolex watches and two diamond rings; china flatware and silverware; various power tools; payment in full of student loans; payments made on several credit cards; payments for household maintenance services; and $113,071.45 paid to family and friends.” She took the fall alone though……
And the City of Springfield "leaders" have been giving him Fire awards ever since. It doesn't take a lot to figure out their thinking behind that. And Tracey Tackett loves him, which should be all anyone needs to know, really.

Commission Candidates November 2025
In more accurate terms, those people that The Don allowed to "run".
The three below could be unopposed - automatically "elected". Write-in candidates have until August 25th, but they won't be added to the ballot (obviously, Springfield News-Sun's orders from The Don to discourage anyone else).
They refer to Beth Donahue's petition as "invalid", claiming she had signatures from people not qualified to vote. The evidence of corruption in this town never ends. (She has since been in hot water for a book she self-published about crime here. Has every right to do that, in my opinion, but nobody asked me.)
I'm still investigating, but so far the choices seem like more of the same and handpicked by Heck.
I put more details in the Current and Critical section of the Home page.

Is it odd to anyone but me that the only people who make it on the ballots are long-term "servants"?? I've never seen a new name on ANY ballot. I get the "incest" of a small town. Repeat players, but still....I've never seen so many unopposed either. It's like people know....
More on the Candidates
Chris Wallace
Nobody has ever heard of him. I did find something on a 2023 Facebook post when I guess he ran and failed miserably in November 2023? Something I read mentioned him having a nonprofit (I mean, who doesn't?) to serve as a mentor in youth sports? In September 2025 and in true whore fashion, he's latched himself onto the Project 2051 people for the publicity.
Larry Ricketts
The water guy. Thanks Rue for "allowing" him to speak for the allotted 3 minutes. What kind of grown man...? In an October 2024 meeting, he said, "I want to commend the commission for your public service and the thankless job you have. Most of us want to thank Heck for the hard work he and his excellent staff do." Lives on North Fountain near the Ridgewood neighborhood. He was fired up in October 2024 about insulting "non-Haitians" (his words) for being the real problem in this city, but since putting in his application for Commissioner in 2025, he's oddly milquetoast. Make no mistake, this man is ALL about the Haitians.
Andy Rigsbee
A criminal. He was married to and lived with his wife, a convicted embezzler of multi-millions of dollars from fire-related charities. She's serving 11 years. He reaped the benefits. Tracey Tackett loves him! Anybody voting for yet another criminal/criminal-adjacent, should be publicly flogged.
Kenneth R. Seelig Jr.
Write-in candidate who has done more for this town in the past decades than anyone in government. He's the Highway Hikers, Warming Center (self-funded because Heck and Logan Cobbs can't figure out how to tie their shoes), and "Mario" guy.
Also on the November Ballot
Why anyone would ever vote YES on another tax in this state, is beyond me, but Ohoians did just that in the last election.
On this ballot, Clark County wants a new $100 million dollar jail. The county population is ~130K. Criminals who get sentenced to 366 days are sent to state prison. So...? Pictures online look like a country club, complete with a Beverly Hillbillies cement pond and plenty of billy-ard rooms. For all the rehabilitation and mental health (other people's) money this area can throw at it. But that will be another levy on a 2026 ballot. Update: It won't take that long. The Clark County Commissioners and the CC Sheriff have said, "One way or another."
If you approve of the city and county's mismanagement of funds for the last decade, vote yes.
If you love your own demise, vote yes.
It's already property tax reevaluation season in Springfield. My ASSESSED value went up $40K!
If you want more money to be flushed down the Haitian toilet, vote yes. County and City Commissioners (current and running) have made it perfectly clear this is the priority for any and all funds (federal, state, city.)
The link to the WHIO article, if you can read it amongst the 1,000 ads they put on their site.
Must everything in Ohio be so whorish? The whole area just reeks from the federal and state welfare (like it's free and not other people's money). No money for the citizens' benefit, though. We just finance it all.
