Springfield Ohio Emotional Abuse

Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) is a mental health condition characterized by a pervasive pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and lack of empathy. That definition minimizes it. It ruins lives.

Two Citizen Speakers Experienced the NPD* from the Throne

Every day living in Springfield, of course. All the tactics - the we don't do that, the we don't collect data on that, the I'll have someone look into that, the we're working on that, you're racist, you're intolerant, we'll make up stuff to make you look dangerous, we'll lie about you, we'll implement a smear campaign to an entire nation, we allow you to speak under the constant threat they'll police escort you out should you speak about the wrong thing......

*NPD = Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Mayo Clinic Definition does not to it justice. NPD ruins victims' lives. YouTuber , but this article, titled Signs of narcissistic victim syndrome is helpful.

Emotional abuse is a pattern of behavior that diminishes the victim(s) over time. This town is scared, beat down, exhausted, and without a voice. The abusers can't be "voted" out of power. Not when they're all in on it.

Case Study 1 (There are so many, but the two mentioned here were particularly cruel to individuals.):

Note: I don't like to provide links to the YouTube or Facebook videos directly, because they do move them. But they can be found at the general City Facebook page and the City YouTube channel. I provide timestamps to hopefully help the continuity of this poor woman's experience.

  • In the August 13th, 2024, Commission meeting, Noel begged them for a reason to stay. Everyone left, her husband wanted to move, she was dealing with Haitians throwing mattresses in her yard. She's 95 pounds, how could she confront or defend herself? Timestamp: 1:09:16 - 1:11:12. I did find a standalone video of her speech on another YT channel here.

  • In the September 10th, 2024, meeting, two weeks later (the next meeting), she spoke again. But this time, she retracted everything she had said two weeks prior. She apologized and thanked Tracey Tackett for talking to her. Timestamp: 1:09:16 - 1:11:12.

  • Then, in the November 4th, 2024, meeting, she came back. She said she had brought up a genuine issue on August 13th, was discounted and made to feel like what was happening to her wasn't even true. She wanted each of them to take an envelope in which she had written questions to see who would even respond. Timestamp 35:56 - 37:56. (People in the audience reacted, and one person told Rue to "shut up" to which he responded with, "Excuse me?" and had them escorted out by the police.)

I can only assume/hope that she realized who Tracey Tackett really is. But Noel hasn't returned to a meeting yet (as of September 2025). I hope she sold her house for some sort of profit and moved to a better place.

Case Study 2:

  • In the June 3, 2024, Commission meeting, a man named David talked about his son being shot and killed two weeks prior in the shooting all over the news. He pleaded for action. Brown's response was to go into great length about her childhood and how we need to address the real problems here: poverty and racism. When the man responded (I think I would've had to slap her later in the parking lot), Estrop lost his mind and banged the gavel, telling the man that he would be removed. "This isn't a dialogue. Please continue, Commissioner Brown". And if that weren't bad enough, Tackett said "I'm EXHAAAUUUSTED trying to tell you all the things there are to do and all the resources we've made available to you." This was also in response to the man who just lost his son pleading with the city for things for the youth. The kid is dead, but she's EXHAAAAUUUUSTED. Timestamps are 51:03 - 1:20:11, then 1:25:49 - 1:53:00. Her particular diatribe was at :1:47:00 - 1:52:00.

  • To summarize, all the things your dead son could've done to occupy his time, including the golf clinic at the country club and the new pickleball courts. And they're free. But, you're poor and racist and your son chose to do none of what we've done for him.
